The DEM Party delegation held a friendly meeting with the AKP. Important evaluations were made regarding the peace process and political developments.

The meeting was attended by DEM Party co-chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan. The AKP delegation was led by Abdullah Güler. The meeting lasted approximately two hours, during which recent developments were discussed.

After the meeting, it was emphasized that the hope for peace should be nurtured. Bakırhan stated that those involved in sabotage should be brought to justice.

Hatimoğulları provided information about the PKK's disarmament process and stated that the Imralı program would be clarified soon. She also expressed that they expect a message from Abdullah Öcalan for Nevruz.

The DEM Party has also requested an appointment to meet with President Erdoğan. This meeting is expected to take place after the holiday.
