Earthquake and Tsunami Alert in Russia! What’s Happening?

Breaking news! A 7.4 magnitude earthquake has occurred in Russia's Kamchatka region, triggering a tsunami alert!
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter of the earthquake is located 111 kilometers east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 39.5 kilometers.

The tsunami warning indicates that dangerous waves could form along the coastline. Authorities are urging the public to remain cautious.
In July, a previous earthquake of 8.8 magnitude in the region caused significant tsunamis and evacuations in Japan. This new earthquake could herald a similar disaster.
