Forest fires in Hatay were quickly controlled by teams.

A fire broke out in the Karagöz neighborhood of Arsuz district for an unknown reason. Upon notification, the Regional Forestry Directorate and Metropolitan Municipality fire teams were dispatched to the area. The teams are currently working to control the fire.

In the Pirinçlik neighborhood of Arsuz, the forest fire was brought under control by the teams. The cause of the fire was determined to be sparks from rubbing electric wires.

Another forest fire in the Dörtyol district was also brought under control by the teams. The fire started after notifications were made to the 112 Emergency Call Center by nearby residents.

The causes of the fires are being investigated, and cooling efforts are ongoing. Thanks to the dedicated work of the teams, the fires were controlled before they could spread.
