The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued warnings for heavy rain and storms across the country. Air temperatures are expected to remain above seasonal norms.

More than 20 provinces, including the capital, are expected to experience heavy rainfall. Strong winds are anticipated from the north, particularly in the Marmara and Aegean regions, so caution is advised.

Heavy rainfall is expected particularly in the Artvin and Rize regions. Citizens should be prepared for sudden weather changes.

Storm warnings will be especially effective in coastal areas, with wind speeds expected to range from 50 to 80 km/h. Therefore, caution is advised when outdoors.
