Walmart has recalled 850,000 water bottles due to the risk of caps flying off, which has led to two consumers experiencing permanent vision loss.

The American retail giant Walmart is recalling the "Ozark Trail 64 oz Stainless Steel Insulated Water Bottles" sold since 2017. The caps can unexpectedly fly off when opened, causing serious injuries.

Walmart advises consumers to stop using these bottles and to apply for a refund. The company emphasizes that this situation poses a serious safety risk.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) stated that these products pose serious impact and tearing hazards. Storing perishable drinks like sodas and juices in these bottles for long periods can be dangerous.
