Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced the completion of the tender for the railway connection project linking Filyos Port with the Filyos Industrial Zone.

This project will integrate the cargo potential at Filyos Port, Turkey's gateway to the Black Sea, into the national railway network. Uraloğlu stated, "Our connection line will be 7.17 kilometers long."

The project is designed for a speed of 60 kilometers per hour, and Uraloğlu mentioned that the existing Gökçeler Station will be expanded and a railway bridge will be constructed.

This investment is strategically important for increasing Turkey's logistics capacity and turning Filyos Port into a global trade center.

Uraloğlu stated, "Thanks to this line, cargo reaching Filyos Port will be transported seamlessly to inland regions and industrial centers via the national railway network."
