Floods and Earthquakes: Recent Developments in Turkey

Recent natural disasters in Turkey, especially floods and earthquakes, are causing concern among the public.
A 4.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Ulaş district of Sivas. According to the Kandilli Observatory, the depth of the earthquake was recorded at 7.4 kilometers. Such earthquakes can affect the region's infrastructure and threaten public safety.

In Kütahya, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake occurred. AFAD reported that the depth of the earthquake was 7.71 kilometers. This event caused panic among the public and was felt in surrounding provinces.

A 4.5 magnitude earthquake also occurred in the Saimbeyli district of Adana. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated that AFAD teams are on the ground and no negative situations have been reported.
In Bingöl, a 4.4 magnitude earthquake occurred, raising concerns among the public. AFAD also provided information about aftershocks.

Lastly, a 4.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Mediterranean near Girit Island. Such events indicate an increase in seismic activity in the region.
