A fire in a forested area in Izmir has created a frightening situation as summer approaches.

The fire started in the Seferihisar district, and the Izmir Forest Regional Directorate teams are intervening from the air and ground. The fire began at 13:05 in the Çolak İbrahim neighborhood, and teams responded immediately.

To control the flames, 3 planes, 3 helicopters, 14 water tankers, and 3 bulldozers are being used. The teams are making intense efforts to bring the fire under control.

Due to the fire, nearby boats and caravans have also been evacuated from the area. This fire in Izmir reminds us of the disasters experienced in previous years.
