In the Canik district, a landslide caused rocks to fall onto the car wash area next to a gas station. The incident was captured on security cameras.

Samsun Governor Orhan Tavlı announced that one person was rescued with injuries, while three others are trapped under the rubble. Rescue operations are ongoing.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya reported that rescue efforts are continuing and a woman was rescued with injuries. Efforts are ongoing for the other three individuals.
