In his social media post, Şahin noted that street interviews lead to division in society and misinformation. He emphasized that they will closely monitor such content.

Şahin expressed concern over certain broadcasts that disregard human dignity and incite hate speech, stating that inspections will be intensified against such content.

Lastly, he mentioned that a street interview directed at a citizen constitutes a clear violation of rights, and necessary legal actions will be initiated.

RTÜK will continue to take necessary steps to protect the law and ethical principles in the audiovisual media sector.
