A landslide occurred in Yusuflu Village after heavy rain and fog. The melting snow and saturated soil led to a mass of earth sliding down the slope.

A second landslide occurred in the area due to heavy fog. The sirens from the gendarmerie vehicle helped five people move to a safe area.

Yusuflu Village Headman Ömer Birinci stated that AFAD teams decided to restrict access to the area for three months. During this time, the gendarmerie warned citizens with sirens.

Residents expressed that they survived thanks to the gendarmerie's siren. It was emphasized that precautions should be taken to prevent such incidents from happening again.
