Etna Volcano Erupts! Tourists Flock to the Area

Etna Volcano has made an impressive eruption in southern Italy, attracting a flood of tourists to the area.
The Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology reported that the volcano is erupting ash and lava. Red code warnings have been issued for air traffic.

Local authorities warn that tourists approaching the lava are in extreme danger, which also hinders rescue services from reaching those in need.

Guides recommend that tourists stay at least 500 meters away from the lava. However, these warnings are often ignored.

The regional civil defense chief of Sicily warned that the dangerous behavior of tourists could have serious consequences. Such situations pose great risks for both tourists and local residents.
