Climate change and global warming are among the most discussed topics today. The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued important warnings for this week.

It is expected that the general weather across the country will be partly and very cloudy, with thunderstorms and heavy rain in the Marmara and Aegean regions. Particularly, strong rainfall is expected in the Lakes Region, Uşak, and Afyonkarahisar.

Meteorology has issued a yellow alert for Balıkesir, Bursa, and Çanakkale. Strong winds and storms are expected in these provinces.

According to weather forecasts, thunderstorms and heavy rain will be prevalent across much of Turkey throughout the week. Particularly, temperatures in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions are expected to exceed 20°C.
