New Era in Transportation: Inspection of İyidere Logistics Port

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made significant inspections at İyidere Logistics Port. This port aims to enhance the trade potential of the Eastern Black Sea region.
Minister Uraloğlu stated that the port will contribute to regional development and that a modern base serving large-tonnage ships in the Black Sea is being constructed.
İyidere Logistics Port is located 20 kilometers from the center of Rize and 50 kilometers from Trabzon. The port will serve as a transfer center for the potential traffic between the Caucasus and Middle Eastern countries.
Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that the completion of the port will reach a total capacity of 13 million tons per year and strengthen Turkey's strategic position.
The port is planned to be completed in the third quarter of 2026, with an annual capacity of 100,000 Ro-Ro operations and 100,000 TEU container handling.
