AKP's New Bill: National Parks and Tourism

The AKP is preparing to implement new regulations on national parks. These regulations will cover environmental protection and tourism investments.
The new bill will allow tourism investments in certain areas of national parks. However, approval from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change will be required for these investments.
Tourism businesses established with ministry approval will have an operational period of 49 years, which can be extended to 99 years if deemed successful.
If the bill becomes law, energy and infrastructure projects will also be permitted within national park boundaries, subject to the relevant ministry's approval.
Additionally, penalties including prison sentences will be imposed on those causing environmental issues in national parks, marking a significant step towards ecological balance.
