The General Directorate of Meteorology has updated the weather forecasts for Turkey. Temperature levels are expected to be above seasonal norms, especially in the interior and eastern regions.

In the northern, interior, and western parts of the country, a partly cloudy and very cloudy weather is expected. Rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, and Central Anatolia regions.

Heavy rainfall is expected in Izmir, Muğla, Aydın, and surrounding areas. Winds are forecasted to be strong from the southern directions.

It is predicted that temperatures will decrease by 4 to 6 degrees in areas experiencing rainfall, while remaining above seasonal norms in other areas.

Meteorology emphasizes that local heavy rains are expected in the eastern districts of Antalya. Citizens are urged to be cautious and prepared.

Winds are expected to reach speeds of 40-70 km/h in the interior parts of the Mediterranean. This may lead to disruptions in transportation.
