Social media influencers Özlem Altınok Öz and her husband Tayyar Taylan Öz are in the spotlight due to a corruption case. Imprisonment is being sought!

The Istanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has filed a lawsuit against the Öz couple and their partners. The accusations include concealing the illegitimate source of their assets. The indictment has been accepted, and the defendants are expected to appear before the judge on November 19.

The case is based on allegations of creating a false brand perception by selling low-cost products at high prices through social media. The Öz couple denies the accusations.

The report prepared by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) stated that there was no data indicating that the defendants had come together with the intent to commit a crime. However, it was noted that tax evasion caused a loss of 10 million lira to the public.

The defendants are accused of laundering the income obtained from tax evasion, and sufficient evidence has been found to file a public lawsuit against them.
