The first lesson in universities starts with Gaza! The Higher Education Council requested that this issue be addressed in education.

The Higher Education Council (YÖK) has asked universities to include human rights violations in Gaza in their academic year opening ceremonies. This is considered a humanitarian and moral duty.

YÖK President Erol Özvar emphasized that Turkey is experiencing a strong rise in higher education. There are 6.8 million students studying in 208 universities, and the number of international students has exceeded 337,000.

Özvar highlighted that more Turkish universities are finding their place in international rankings and stated that their goal is to be among the top 200.

The Ministry of National Education reported that the LGS exam questions matched the content of textbooks. Students did not encounter any surprises in the exam.
