Armed Attacker Alert on US Campuses and Recent Developments

Recently, the increasing incidents of armed attacks at universities in the US have raised concerns among students and families. The latest incident at Villanova University involved an armed attacker alert, leading to the campus being shut down.
Police warned of an armed attacker on campus and advised students to seek safety. Many students locked themselves in closed areas after receiving messages from the alert system.
On social media, it was reported that police evacuated the buildings but no casualties were reported at that time. Delaware District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer stated that they were trying to control the situation.
In another armed attack at Florida State University, one person was killed and at least six others were injured. Numerous police and ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
Witnesses reported hearing 15 to 20 gunshots. One witness stated that a young man emerged from the Student Union building with a gun, causing nearby individuals to flee in panic.
