A fire disaster is occurring in Izmir Menderes!

A fire broke out in the forest of Çile neighborhood at around 12:30. Following the report, air units and numerous fire trucks were dispatched to the scene by the Izmir Forest Regional Directorate. The cause of the fire is still unknown.

Efforts to combat the flames are ongoing from both air and ground. Previously, fires in Izmir had led to the evacuation of several neighborhoods. Similar situations may arise this time as well.

As the fire is being brought under control, local residents are advised to remain cautious. The risk of the fire spreading is heightened due to the wind.
