Temperatures in Turkey have reached record levels!

Today, temperatures have exceeded 40 degrees in 24 cities. The highest temperature recorded was 45.3 degrees in Kurtalan, Siirt. Cizre, Şırnak and Hasankeyf, Batman also reported high temperatures.

The General Directorate of Meteorology has reported that temperatures will remain above seasonal norms throughout this week. While temperatures in the western regions will be around seasonal norms, high temperatures are expected in other areas.

With the impact of the hot weather, it is important for citizens to be cautious and take necessary precautions. Especially, they should avoid staying outside for long periods and drink plenty of water.
