Weather forecasts indicate that rainfall continues across Turkey. Which regions are expected to experience showers and thunderstorms?

According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly and very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in the eastern Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, and some parts of Central Anatolia. Heavy rainfall is expected especially in the Southern and Central Aegean and the inner parts of the Western Mediterranean.

Temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 5 degrees in the eastern regions, while no significant changes are expected elsewhere. Winds are predicted to generally come from the north.

In Istanbul, temperatures are expected to be around 21°C, 28°C in Izmir, and 24°C in Antalya. Stay tuned for more updates on the weather!
