A major operation has taken place! 43 people were arrested in the operation against 6 different criminal organizations.

Coordinated by the General Directorate of Security's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Department, operations were conducted in Denizli, Izmir, Kırklareli, and Istanbul against 6 separate organized crime groups. A total of 71 suspects were detained, with 43 arrested and 14 placed under judicial control.

The targets of the operations included leaders of the criminal organizations such as D.S. in Denizli, M.K. in Izmir, N.G. in Kırklareli, and D.A. and I.A. in Istanbul. The suspects face numerous charges in the ongoing investigations.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya emphasized the importance of capturing members of criminal organizations in his statement regarding the operations, indicating that such operations will continue.
