The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that temperatures across Turkey will rise and rain is on the way. According to forecasts, temperatures are expected to increase by 4 to 8 degrees in the coming days.

Today, the weather will be partly and mostly cloudy across the country. Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the southern and eastern parts of the Aegean, the Mediterranean, and much of Central Anatolia.

Rain is expected to be locally heavy in the southern parts of Central Anatolia and the inner parts of the Mediterranean. A partly and occasionally very cloudy weather will dominate for the next 5 days.

Temperatures are expected to rise to 26 degrees in Ankara, 27 degrees in Istanbul, 29 degrees in Izmir, and 23 degrees in Antalya by mid-next week. This increase in temperature indicates that spring weather is returning.
