Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that 3 million 123 thousand people have retired under the retirement age regulation (EYT). He stated that the first year cost is 724 billion lira.

Minister Işıkhan announced that the holiday bonus for retirees has been increased from 3,000 TL to 4,000 TL, and these bonuses will be deposited into accounts after passing through the Parliament.

A total of 16 million retirees will receive holiday bonuses before Ramadan and Kurban Bayram. This year, the bonuses are expected to be deposited between March 24-28.

Minister Işıkhan emphasized that necessary steps are being taken for the holiday bonuses of retirees to be deposited into accounts and that this process will progress swiftly.
