The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced a supercell rain affecting Ankara. The thunderstorm that started in the evening has disrupted daily life. Water puddles formed on streets, causing traffic delays.

Citizens in Batıkent sought shelter at bus stops and covered areas due to the heavy rain. In Etimesgut, water puddles formed, and municipal teams began working to drain the water.

Meteorology predicts local heavy rainfall in the northern and western parts of Central Anatolia. Winds are expected to blow in storm conditions.

Ankara's Mayor Mansur Yavaş stated that all teams are on the ground and urged citizens to be cautious. It is crucial to be prepared for sudden floods and water accumulation.
