A significant operation was conducted in the Alaşehir district of Manisa against criminal organizations. Gendarmerie teams targeted the groups known as 'Jackals' and 'Tokuçlar'.

During the operation, 11 suspects were arrested, while one person was reported to have fled. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office of Alaşehir had issued detention orders for 12 suspects.

Searches revealed 3 million 622 thousand TL worth of promissory notes, drugs, and firearms. This operation also uncovered the usury activities targeting farmers by these organizations.

It was determined that the criminal organizations earned 150 million lira from 55 victims. This situation has caused a significant public outcry, and efforts to ensure justice are ongoing.

This operation once again highlights the determination of security forces in Manisa to combat crime. The gendarmerie will continue its efforts to ensure public safety.
