Trade Minister Ömer Bolat held an important meeting with Syrian Transport Minister Yarub Süleyman Bedir. This meeting serves as a starting point to strengthen transportation and logistics cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the strengthening of land, sea, rail, and air transportation was discussed. Efforts to rebuild Syria's transportation infrastructure were also on the agenda.

Minister Bolat emphasized the need for customs gates to be made faster and more efficient to make Syria a transit hub. This will contribute to increasing trade between the two countries.

Additionally, it was stated that necessary steps will be taken to continue the vision of the historical Hejaz Road. This cooperation will also contribute to regional development.

This meeting is of great importance for strengthening economic relations between Turkey and Syria. Increasing cooperation between the two countries will be beneficial for both sides.
