Pressure is mounting on universities! Harvard University rejected the demands of the Trump administration.

Harvard, one of the leading universities in the US, did not accept the measures imposed by the White House under the pretext of combating antisemitism. This decision is seen as an effort to maintain the university's independence.

Harvard University President Alan Garber stated that the university will not relinquish its constitutional rights. Former President Barack Obama also supported Harvard, expressing hope that other universities would adopt a similar stance.

The Trump administration decided to freeze the 2.2 billion dollars in federal funding allocated to Harvard. This situation increases the pressure on universities regarding federal funds.

Harvard's stance serves as an example for other universities. The issues of independence in education and academic freedom have come to the forefront again.
