Students in Ankara Join Protests Following Istanbul University Events

In recent days, following the events at Istanbul University, universities in Ankara have also taken action. Students are organizing protest marches against the cancellation of Ekrem İmamoğlu's diploma and the detentions.
The protests that began at Istanbul University received support from Boğaziçi, ITU, and Yıldız Technical University. Students continued their marches, overcoming police barricades.
In Ankara, Hacettepe University students have also begun their march. They are raising their voices against the diploma cancellation and detentions.
During the protests, tense moments were experienced at times. Police intervened with tear gas against the students. However, the students are determined to defend their rights.
These events are increasing the political participation and social sensitivity of university students across Turkey. Students are fighting for free and autonomous universities.
