FETÖ Members Caught Trying to Escape to Greek Islands

In Bodrum, Turkey, FETÖ members attempting to escape to the Greek islands were caught. Nine individuals were detained.
Coast Guard teams detected a suspicious rubber boat off Yalıkavak. The boat, trying to leave Turkish territorial waters, was stopped by the teams, and the nine individuals onboard were detained.
It was determined that eight of the detainees were members of FETÖ/PDY and had been dismissed from their positions. They were found to have set sail from Didim, Aydın, to reach the Greek islands.
The detainees were under investigation for membership in FETÖ/PDY and had travel bans against them. After completing their procedures at the gendarmerie, the nine suspects were referred to the courthouse.
