Elon Musk has crowned his passion for space research by establishing a new city. Starbase has officially been founded in Texas!

With the local election in the Boca Chica area, this new city, heavily populated by SpaceX employees, reflects Musk's vision. In the voting results, 212 people supported the city formation.

Starbase will be a city with a population of less than 5,000, allowing for a property tax of 1.5%. This will enable the new administration to have more control over local regulations.

However, some local residents argue that SpaceX is harming the environment and oppose this initiative. Environmental groups are concerned about the impacts of rocket launches on nature.

Musk celebrated this achievement on the social media platform X, stating, "Starbase, Texas is now a real city!" Starbase is on its way to becoming the center of space research.
