Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek announced that Turkey is ready for cooperation with the European Union. The Turkey-EU High-Level Economic Dialogue is resuming after six years.

This dialogue will benefit both parties and will enhance economic integration in the EU through Turkey's strong integration. Şimşek emphasized Turkey's competencies across a wide range of areas from defense to energy.

The meeting will address topics such as updating the Customs Union and improving the investment environment. This is expected to be an important step in deepening economic cooperation between Turkey and the EU.

Şimşek stated that Turkey's strategic position and economic potential could contribute to building a larger economy in the EU.
