In the US, the Trump administration continues to make significant changes to immigration laws. Recently, discussions are ongoing about the repeal of birthright citizenship.

Trump signed a presidential decree that removes the right to automatic citizenship for children born in the country. This decree prevents children born to undocumented mothers from obtaining citizenship if their father is not a citizen or green card holder.

The Justice Department has appealed to the Supreme Court against federal judges in Maryland, Massachusetts, and Washington who halted the nationwide implementation of the decree. They argue that the judges' decisions should only apply to the plaintiffs in the case.

Additionally, the Trump administration has cut legal representation support for immigrant children without parents. This decision is expected to affect 26,000 children.

Trump also initiated a policy allowing the detention of immigrants in places of worship. However, some groups were exempted from this policy.

Finally, Trump launched the "Golden Card" program aimed at wealthy foreign investors. This card will provide residency and a pathway to citizenship in the US.
