The co-chairs of the DEM Party, Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan, visited Selahattin Demirtaş. This visit carries important messages regarding the peace process.

The visit took place in Edirne Prison and lasted approximately 3.5 hours. Bakırhan stated that Demirtaş is closely following and supporting the process.

Hatimoğulları emphasized that the recent developments are very valuable. It was stated that such visits contribute to the peace process.

The DEM Party will also visit Figen Yüksekdağ tomorrow. These visits are expected to have positive effects on the political atmosphere in Turkey.
