Minister Kurum held significant talks for COP31 candidacy!

During the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum met with Australia's Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen and Azerbaijan's Special Representative for Climate Change Muhtar Babayev. The meeting focused on Turkey's candidacy for COP31 presidency.

Minister Kurum emphasized in his social media post that the COP31 candidacy is an important step not only for the countries involved but also for the future of the world. He stated that Turkey will continue its efforts in coordination with all institutions based on its technical capacity and strong human resources for a green development vision.
