Devlet Bahçeli met with villagers after the Sındırgı earthquake. This meeting was organized to provide support to earthquake victims.

The 6.1 magnitude earthquake on August 10 caused significant damage in Sındırgı and Bigadiç. Minister Kurum visited the villages after the earthquake and promised to lay the foundations for new homes.

Minister Kurum announced that the foundations for 531 independent units have been laid and that these homes will be completed within a year. He provided information about the aid and housing projects for earthquake victims.

Minister Kurum comforted victims like Şükriye Evren, saying, "Don't be sad anymore, okay?" Such support strengthens the spirit of solidarity in the community.

Devlet Bahçeli's participation in such events is seen as part of the government's post-disaster support policies. Support is expected from all segments of society.
