MHP has taken significant action following the corruption operation at Bayrampaşa Municipality. Two members have been sent for disciplinary action.

MHP Vice President Semih Yalçın announced that Yasin Sönmez and Emin Sönmez have been sent for expulsion. Yalçın stated, "These individuals have no connection with our party anymore."

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into Bayrampaşa Municipality for "bribery," "embezzlement," and "manipulating tenders." A detention order has been issued for 48 individuals.

Among those detained are Bayrampaşa Mayor Hasan Mutlu and other senior bureaucrats. This situation demonstrates the effectiveness of MHP's disciplinary mechanisms.
