MHP Vice President Feti Yıldız proposed that a delegation visit Imrali. This suggestion is seen as a significant step within the Terror-Free Turkey process.

The commission will listen to representatives from unions such as Türk-İş, Hak-İş, and DİSK on September 11. Additionally, representatives from TÜSİAD and MÜSİAD will also participate in the meeting.

DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları emphasized the vital importance of the commission meeting with Abdullah Öcalan in Imrali, stating that it should happen without delay.

During the first meeting of the commission, CHP members expressed that constructive negotiations took place. However, they noted that no decision was made regarding a visit to Imrali.

Feti Yıldız stated on social media that the commission's name is 'National Solidarity and Brotherhood Commission' and emphasized that there should be no debate about this matter.
