Three-Day Protest Ban Announced in Istanbul

A significant development has occurred in Istanbul! The governor's office has banned all protests and demonstrations for three days in six districts.
As discussions continue regarding the trustee at the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, the Istanbul Governor's Office has implemented these bans in Beşiktaş, Beyoğlu, Eyüpsultan, Kağıthane, Sarıyer, and Şişli. This decision came shortly after a call from the CHP Youth Branch.
The governor's office announced that these bans will remain in effect until September 10 at 23:59. It emphasized the need for all Istanbul residents to act sensibly during this period and to comply with the law.

Governor Davut Gül stated that such bans are implemented to maintain public peace. He reminded citizens that inviting others to illegal gatherings constitutes a legal offense.
During this process, it is crucial for all residents to act in accordance with the law and democratic maturity. All necessary measures have been taken to preserve unity and solidarity in Istanbul.
