An important development has occurred in Şırnak! The name of Hakkari Boulevard has been changed to Devlet Bahçeli Boulevard in honor of the MHP leader.

The Şırnak Municipality announced that some street and park names have been changed. It was decided that the newly completed national garden would be named ‘Recep Tayyip Erdoğan National Garden’.

The MHP Şırnak Provincial Presidency shared a thank you message regarding this change. This decision was announced during the July session of the Şırnak Municipal Council.

This development drew attention following President Erdoğan's announcement about the AKP-MHP and DEM Party collaboration. The gesture in Şırnak is seen as a sign of political unity.
