Büyükataman pointed out Dervişoğlu's political inconsistency and stated that Turkish nationalism is represented by the MHP. He stressed that MHP will never compromise on its ideals.

Büyükataman noted that Dervişoğlu's statements do not reflect the realities of the Turkish nation and reiterated that MHP's stance is clear and will always act in accordance with Turkish nationalism.
