Evaluations on AK Party Minister and the Kanal Istanbul Project

Yeniden Refah Party Vice President Suat Kılıç announced their opposition to the Kanal Istanbul project. This project is expected to increase Istanbul's current population and deepen traffic issues.
Kılıç questioned why young people are not getting married, citing the minimum wage being below the hunger threshold. He stated that the poverty line is 78 thousand lira.
Kılıç emphasized that Kanal Istanbul would disrupt Istanbul's natural structure and increase earthquake risks. He stated that the agenda of Istanbul should focus on earthquake preparedness rather than the canal.
Kılıç also mentioned that the Republic of Turkey should support the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Furthermore, he stressed that resources considered for Kanal Istanbul should be directed towards earthquake transformations.

In conclusion, voices against the Kanal Istanbul project are increasing. This project is critical for the future of Istanbul, and public opinions should be taken into account.
