Elon Musk attended Trump's first cabinet meeting at the White House and made significant warnings about the country's financial situation.

During the meeting, Musk emphasized that the country cannot sustain a $2 trillion budget deficit. "We are exceeding defense spending," he stated.

Musk indicated that to reduce the deficit by $1 trillion by the fiscal year 2026, $4 billion needs to be saved daily.

Trump supported Musk's proposals and stressed the need to downsize the federal government. Contributions from cabinet members were limited during the meeting.

Musk also provided information about federal employees' performance evaluations, stating that this process was actually a pulse check.
