All Stages of Baby Pigeon
From the first week, pubescence begins gradually. Puppies should be tagged these days. If you cannot tag the puppies at 7 days of age, it becomes very difficult for the tags to pass to the feet. If possible, feed should be placed in nests next to 15-day-old puppies. If this is not possible, 21-day-old puppies should be left on the ground so that they can see their parents while they are feeding. In this way, the offspring can eat feed in a very short time. The fry should be too small to reach the nests when they are left on the ground, or the nests must be located high enough from the ground. Otherwise, the offspring enter the nest of foreign couples and are pecked and beaten by the nest owners. Cubs should be able to eat at 28 days of age and should be separated from their parents. In the first week, there should be continuous feed in front of the puppies that have been fed. During this period, puppies should be observed and it should be ensured that all of them drink water and eat food. Puppies usually start eating before they drink water. The puppies who cannot find the water should be allowed to drink by inserting their beaks into the drinker from time to time. After a while, it will be seen that all the puppies are eating food and drinking water. After that, you can move on to your pup's flying and practice training.
