Imamoğlu was detained but did not lose hope. He called for justice and emphasized the importance of public solidarity during this process.

Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu stated, "The first step to help the Supreme Turkish judiciary out of its darkest days is the fair decisions made by thousands of honest judges and prosecutors."

Imamoğlu emphasized, "The religion of the state is justice. What keeps us together and allows us to look at life with confidence is justice."

Highlighting the importance of public solidarity, Imamoğlu said, "Never give up your determination, always keep your hope alive."

Imamoğlu also gave hope to the youth: "History will write you, young people! You will write history and set an example for the world!"
