The Republican People's Party has launched a significant signature campaign for the release of Ekrem İmamoğlu and calls for early elections.

Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu was detained on March 19 and arrested on March 23. This incident sparked a strong reaction among the public.

The CHP announced the campaign under the slogan 'Freedom for Ekrem İmamoğlu and early elections.' This campaign is seen as a crucial step for strengthening the opposition.

The campaign has also received significant support abroad. The CHP Munich Union launched the campaign on the same day, attracting the attention of Turkish citizens.

Özgür Özel stated that the campaign will be carried out in all 81 provinces and 973 districts across Turkey. Everyone is expected to participate in this campaign.
