Beware of Avalanche, Landslide, and Soil Erosion Disasters!

Recent weather forecasts indicate risks of avalanches, landslides, and soil erosion in many parts of Turkey. Special attention is required in the Eastern Anatolia and Black Sea regions.
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued warnings for heavy downpours and storms. Temperatures are expected to drop by 6 to 8 degrees, with wind speeds reaching up to 80 km/h.

In the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia regions, snowfall is expected in higher elevations. This increases the risk of avalanches and landslides.
Meteorology also warned about floods and waterlogging. Special caution is advised for areas around Ordu and Rize.

Due to adverse weather conditions, it is crucial for citizens to be cautious and take necessary precautions. Those living in high-altitude areas should be particularly careful.
