A landslide disaster in Gümüşhane has negatively impacted transportation in the area. Heavy rainfall has caused soil slips, blocking roads.

In the Özkürtün neighborhood of Gümüşhane, a landslide occurred in the afternoon, fortunately without any casualties. Road and special administration teams have begun working to clear the road.

In the Torul district, a similar situation occurred. In the Kaledibi neighborhood, rock fragments fell onto the road in the morning. Teams have closed the road as a precaution and are working to clear it.

On the Gümüşhane-Tirebolu highway, a landslide was prevented thanks to citizens' reports. The gendarmerie ensured controlled traffic flow in risky areas.

A similar landslide situation occurred in Giresun as well. The Yavuzkemal road is currently being cleared under strict safety measures.
