Climate Change: The Next 5 Years Are Critical!

Climate change and global warming are entering a critical phase in the next 5 years. According to the WMO report, temperature records may be broken.
Scientists indicate a 70% chance that average temperatures from 2025 to 2029 will be 1.5 degrees above pre-industrial levels. This situation threatens the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.

In 2024, for the first time in history, the annual temperature increase exceeded 1.5 degrees. This shows how serious the impacts of climate change are.

The Arctic will warm 3.5 times faster than the global average. This will lead to increased droughts in the Amazon rainforest.
WMO Climate Services Director Chris Hewitt emphasized the need to reduce fossil fuel use. If we do not take action, limiting warming will not be possible.
